Dry, racy, delicately fruity, Riesling has a bouquet of great finesse. A wine for gourmets, it is outstanding with fish or seafood and, of course, sauerkraut. In the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg it is known as the “King of Wines”.
Tender and delicate, it is the most understated wine from Luxembourg Moselle. It combines freshness and suppleness. Pinot Blanc goes well with most dishes, but especially with cold buffets.
Pinot Gris has a characteristic opulence in its flavour. It is full-bodied, round and long in the mouth. Pinot Gris is excellent with foie gras, game, roasts and offal. It is also very pleasant to drink on its own.
Auxerrois deserves to be better known. Real connoisseurs will tell you that it is the noblest Luxembourg wine, the one with the least acidity. It is also called “the most French of Luxembourg’s wines”. Its pronounced bouquet is easily recognisable. It is ideal as an aperitif, but also a perfect accompaniment to desserts and cheese.
Pinot Noir Cuvée Blanc de Noir
Pinot Noir Cuvée Blanc de Noir, also called “Vignifié en Blanc” (the process of making a white wine from red grapes) is a very aromatic wine. It is the perfect expression of the flavour of fresh fruit. Blackcurrant and strawberries. This is a wine that can be drunk anywhere. It can be used as an aperitif, with desserts and fresh cheese, and also with white meat.
Pinot Noir Rosé
Pinot Noir Rosé has a fruity taste, reminiscent of cherries. It is ideal in the summer and at barbecues. These grape varieties are an ideal base for complex still and Crémant wines, that are marked by the soil they grow in and often reveal a fruity bouquet.
Crémant de Luxembourg Cuvée Symphonie en Brut
A nose marked by citrus fruits; a lot of body, woolly and much appreciated by consumers.
